September Pickups- T206 Hall of Famers!
This month has to be the best month of card pick ups I've ever had. Managed to get two T206 Hall of Famers in Christy Mathewson, and John "Muggsy McGraw", the first couple of 76 hopefully! Mathewson is a hero of mine, so this is a really exciting get for me. I was able to scoop up the McGraw on a random weekday night on Ebay going for way under what I imagined a hall of famer to be. I know it's a trimmed copy, but it will work for now! The Mathewson was a card I had my eye on, but was a little overpriced for being a card I wasn't absolutely in love with as a beat up copy. But the price lowered and I couldn't pass up the chance at my first Mathewson. Always room to upgrade down the road. How ironic is it that I was able to acquire the coach and pitcher without planning on buying either, for great deals!
